I love art, good food and unconventional clothes. I learned to cook at the age of 30 (forced by circumstances). I would rather spend money on travelling than designer clothes. I drool over shoes I could never afford. I would give anything to have a week with the books I am yearning to read. I have never read a single norwegian novel, strange enough.
I understand myself enough to know that there are 2 adjectives that is a perfect description of me: eccentric and boring.

I moved to Norway in 2000. I only had my husband and my little girl. I did not speak Norwegian. I did not know anybody. I was unfamiliar with the whole country except for some current events that maybe half of the world's population knew about and common knowlegde dating back to the viking period.
Unluckily, the language school I got into was only for women. The lessons were extremely slow and since there was no one to help me with anything. I got stuck in that class for a year. Boredom took over. I convinced my husband to get an internet connection (at that time, dial up connection).
I made my first personal website on bravenet in 2001. I transferred to blogger in 2005 and made a mistake going to vodahost and another norwegian host. I am still with blogger and trying to reunite the sites I have made over the years to northernangle.com. Little by little, everyday.... So excuse the site... it is half done.
